Theresa D’Anniballe, 92, of Steubenville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the Sienna Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born on February 21, 1922, in Steubenville, to the late Joseph and Rose Saggio.
She was a member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony’s Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dominick D’Anniballe; five brothers, Patsy, Anthony and Albert Pacchiano, John and Sam Saggio; and two sisters, Catherine (Bruno) Vete and Isabel (Homer) Gains.
She is survived by four daughters, Cynthia (John) Liberatore of New Cumberland, Mary Jo Pizzoferrato of Columbus, Nancy (Rick) Boring of Newark, and Nikki Marino of Wintersville. In addition to her children, she is survived by seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Marissa, Francheska, Anthony, Lisa, Alyssa, and Aisha.
She is also survived by two great-grandsons, Max and Enzo. She leaves behind two sisters, Marie (Pete) Ferrise, Dolly (Vince) Bruno; and two brothers, Amelio (Nancy) Saggio and Eugene Saggio. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. on Monday at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Gerald Calovini at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church.
Entombment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
